Job Description

We are looking for a Manager – Quality Control, Packing & Dispatch for our Mumbai warehouse. The role is hands-on and responsible for end-to-end QC, packing, dispatch planning, and warehouse coordination, with strong exposure to handicrafts and textiles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and allocate work as per shipment handover dates
  • Manage QC and Packing teams; allot inspection tables and supervisors
  • Conduct and report inline, mid-line, and final inspections as per buyer requirements
  • Follow up with production for delays or short receipts
  • Guide packing team on ordering poly bags, outer cartons, and packing accessories
  • Generate shipping markings for all shipment boxes
  • Update and monitor actions from LRM (Line Review Meetings)
  • Maintain manual records of incoming, re-do, and returned goods
  • Maintain daily cutter / player records
  • Collect monthly samples and packaging for showroom
  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness, space management, and removal of unwanted items
  • Coordinate with compliance team during audits
  • Arrange servicing and upkeep of equipment

Profile Sought

  • Strong experience in QC, packing, and dispatch operations
  • Good knowledge of handicrafts and textile products
  • Used to working with shipment-driven timelines and buyer standards
  • Hands-on, team-handling, and warehouse-based role experience preferred
